Q: Redden Swell When I Scratch Skin?!

Say for example I take a popsicle stick and just gently write "hi" on back of the arm. At first you wouldn't see anything but in couple of minutes it reddens and swells and you can easily read what i've written. It swells in a way that makes what i've written look like the word is 3d. It goes away in about 10-20 minute.

Please I had this problem all my life and never yet knew what it was.

If you know what it is, please reply, thank you!

Hello,
you have most probably got a condition called dermographism.

Its a type of urticaria and is usually caused by an allergy. It can be treated by using antihistimines such as neoclarityn or hydroxyzine. You may need to see a dermotolagist for this, however your doctor will probably perscribe you with one of the above.
Hope this helps!

could simply be allergies. when there are a lot of allergens in the air they can fall into any tiny break in your skin causing a temporary reaction (redness and swelling).
