:( I Have Cysts :( Posted: 06-22-06 06:33am
So I had the u/s yesterday, and he said my
ovaries are larger than they should be and
I have cyst surrounding both ovaries.
Apparently they arent very big but this
teamed up with my blood results that said
I had a slighty raised testosterone levels
points at me having pcos. I now have to
wait about a week for the report to be
sent back to my doctor before I can find
out what happens next. At least I am
getting some answers now I suppose :(

Jolie i'm sorry. But isn't it better to
know now? At least now the doctors can
put their efforts towards eliminating the
cysts, instead of just blindly saying "oh
nothing is wrong", or whatever.
Have faith, i'm sure that the doctors will
do their best to make you better.

Thanks guys!
Yeah it is better knowing, because your
right, now I can hopefully get it sorted.
I sort of knew it already I suppose but I
am soo annoyed though because I have been
having trouble with irregular periods for
about 3years now, (long before I started
ttc) and they always told me to go away
and lose some weight!! Blaming it on me
not having a good diet, which I do! It
used to make me so upset.
I am trying to look at the positives tho,
I already have had 2 children which werent
planned, so my chances for another must be
kind of alright.

Cyst Posted: 08-08-06 15:21pm
In nov 2004 I became pregnant and when I
went for a 14 week check up I was
measuring 5 weeks further so they issued
an ultasound and come to find out I had a
large cyst on my left ovary. My choice
were wait unill after the baby is born or
do surgey asap. If I waited I took the
chance of losing my baby either way. I
did the surgery at 18 weeks pregnat was
completly knocked out they took my left
ovary, and my baby made it through the
whole thing they cut you just like a
c-section. It was very painfull. I call
my baby my miracle baby, he is now 2 years
old and very healthy....
