Found a Lump. Could This Be a Bartholins Cyst? Posted: 06-22-06 00:19am

this.
About 5 months ago ive noticed a lump
about 1/2 inch up (or less) in the right
side of my vagina . It started out being
small but then began to swell (about the
size of a grape). After five days and
realizing it wasnt going down I went to
the health department. They told me it
might be a bartholin cyst, but wasnt sure
as they werent trained in cyst. So they
referred me to a gyno. I have no
insurance so I ended up not going. About
a couple days later it finally it went
down but never left. Evantually I stopped
worrying about until now. This morning I
noticed that it is swollen again. Their
not painful more like a bruised feeling if
anything. But after reading about them
alot of women are in pain when abscessed,
and they get really big. So im wondering
if it is a bartholin cyst. If anyone
could help it would be greatly apperciate
it. Thanks.
