We have a 12 month old. My wife is still
breast feeding him, she started her period
in dec. We have been having sex - she was
due to start her period last week. Are
periods irregular while breast feeding or
should we be concerned?

hi have you been using protection? At all
~i know it has been said that while
breastfeeding it is possible not to get
pregnant.
When I breastfed threw both of my
pregnancys my period was irregular for
about the first 3 to 5 months after and
they were very light ones and sometimes
none at all.But I have a friend who got
pregnant inbetween her delivery and her
next period and she was breast feeding!!So
anything is possible!!! I would wait (and
I know it's hard to wait) till the next
one
is due and if it doesn't come I would go
in or
take a home pregnancy test.If she has been
regular and she's been breastfeeding ur
baby for 12 months not weeks it could
be!
