Q: Bottle Feeding Difficulties

My 5 week old son, was a great eater until a few days ago. He was taking a 4/5 oz bottle of formula almost every feed. However for the last few days he has only been taking 1.5 - 3 oz per feed, and this is worrying. He tends to now fall asleep on the bottle after about 2 oz (sometimes less), and it is impossible to wake him, (tried the taking off the nappy, tickling, blowing on him etc). He has no temperature or illness, and weighs a healthy 10lbs.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this - or can offer any help or advice?

Regards,
a worried mummy. :(

Babies go through changes at different ages and 5-6 weeks is one of the times. As long as he is wetting 4 diapers a day do not be alarmed, if you see he is not wetting his diaper, then call a doc.
