How Early Did You Guys Get Preggy Symptoms?? Posted: 06-19-06 18:54pm
My last period was may 30 and lasted 4
days, my hubby and I had sex on june
11,12,13,14,and 15. The past 2 days,
i've felt more nausous than I ever have in
my life.. Mostly in the morning and
evening, i've had major headaches, and
white discharge all day today, my boobs
feel heavy as bricks. Is this all in my
head or could I be pregnant? I've been
on birth control... On and off (i know
thats bad, I just cant remember to take
it) but we've decided that i'm going off
it after I finish this pack, and we will
t.T.C. I cant stand not knowing, I want
to take a pregnancy test sooo bad.. I
bought an e.P.T, when should I try it?

I had really really sore boobs about 6
days before my period was due - that's why
I tested early and got a positive 4 days
before I was due. When are you due???
Some tests you can take early but make
sure you do it first thing in the
morning!

I have a 27 day cycle, so i'm due to get
my period on the 26th. I saw online
somewhere that you can test 8-10 days
after ovulation with a sensitive test..
Is ept a sensitivity test?

From looking at my temps the month I fell
pregnant, the egg would have implanted 8
days past ovulation and I tested 11 dpo
and got a postitive, which was 4 days
before I was due. I would assume and ept
is a sensitive test but i'm not sure
sorry.

Keep in mind it can take 5 days for
implantation. Given you had sex on the
11th, if fertilization was immediate
(which doesn't always happen),
implantation could have occurred on or
before the 16. Which would give you 3
days of symptoms.
That is not to say it is all wishful
thinking, you may very well be pregnant.
I just want you to understand your body
since you are obviously ttc.
When you test, use your first morning
urine, it has the highest concentration of
hcg in it.

I doubt it would be positive even if you
were pregnant. You have a week until your
period starts. But it is your money, take
as many pregnancy tests as you want.
The closer you are to your period - or if
that happens to be late - the better the
chance of a positive.
I know it is exciting. But what will be
the difference in knowing right now or
knowing a week from now? You'll still
have 9 months to go ;)
