Hey guys, i'm new here. I don't know if anybody has posted this situation before (too anxious to look >_<), but, I wanted to know if I could be pregnant. Last week, and the end of the week before, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. We did have condoms, two kinds, but neither fit him each time. (one he got from his friend, and the other I took from a box my brother bought for himself - both had fine expo's and seemed 100% ok) anyways, when you get in that mood, you do stupid things. During last week, and the week before that, we had unprotected sex 3 times. None of the times he ejaculated. The first time we did it for about 30 seconds, second time we did it for maybe two minutes and the last time maybe for a minute. After each time I got worried about being pregnant, but apparently I have little self control... Considering I did it again. Anyway, I want to know if it's possible that i'm pregnant. I don't remember when my last period was (i also am forgetful... I used to write it down on a calendar). I'm pretty sure i'm close to ovulation. Thing is, i'm pretty sure he pre-cum came out, and I heard you can get pregnant from that... But only if he had ejaculated recently. He barely ever masturbates (he has no door on his room), and he pees like a maniac because he drinks a lot of fluids. Would there be a chance that enough sperm could have possibly made it out his urethra, and into me through his pre-cum, and made it to an egg? I just think that the chances of sperm being in his urethra in the first place to be very little, but i'm still worried. I'm really upset about this, and I just want to know what's going on. I'm too afraid to go out and buy a test (i'm only 16), but if worse comes to worse, i'll have to.... So anyway, i've been looking up symptoms for very early pregnancy, and i've been having some weird cramps. They started when I started worrying though, so it could be just stress. They don't last long, only maybe 15 seconds of it on and off for about 2 minutes. That's happened for the past few days. I have no bleeding or spotting or anything though. I've been a little hungrier than usual, but that could also be stress (end of the year finals for me in school). And I get painful pangs in my ovaries, mainly my left one, but that could just be a cyst (i get those often). Please, if anybody has any feedback, I would love some asap. Should I be really worried? Should I calm down? I'm really messed up about this... Please help. :cry:

Ok well you need to try and relax, hun.. Stress could mess up your cycle even more and make your period late.. But if you miss your next period you need to take a pregnancy test because whenever you have unprotected sex there's a chance of you getting pregnant, even if he didn't cum.

Ok.Anytime you have unprotected sex,you can get pregnant.Just because he didn't cum .I.N you doesn't mean you arent' preg.Its called pre cum and ity .C.A.N get you preg! Take a test and from now on don't be stupid,use protection!

i know all that. And I know I was being stupid, but like I said, when you (or at least just me) get in that mood, you all of a sudden think that it's such a small chance that it can't happen. Until afterwards, where I end up worry my butt off. But explain to me, what exactly is in pre-cum? Does the sperm in it come from an actual gland, straight from it? Or does pre-cum only contain sperm if it carries it from a previous ejaculation in the urethra? And we did plan on using protection, but neither of the condoms fit him.

Boys never want to wear a condom and they'll often find any excuse not to. If the condoms he had and you had were not sufficient, then he should have gone out and bought some that were. Insist on this one crucial point, please. Have enough respect for your own body to take care of it. ;)

now, yes, pre-cum can contain sperm. The length of how long each 'act' was, whether 2 minutes or 4 hours, doesn't matter in the reality of what 'could' happen. You can get genital warts if his penis rubs up against your vagina - even if it only does it once and very lightly. Sperm can get loose if he is inside you for a fraction of a second. That doesn't make pregnancy very likely ~ but you should feel very fortunate if you aren't pregnant and remember this fear and always, always, always make your partner wear a condom. There isn't any reason not to. If he can't 'steal' any from his friends that fit him, have him go buy some.

he went out of his way to ask his friend for one, extra large ones. We thought those would fit, and they didn't. The one I got from my brother was just normal with spermicide. And he didn't say "forget about the condoms", I actually brought up the idea (like I said, I don't think when i'm like that. I have to learn to >_<), and he agreed. And I do have enough respect for my body, I just sometimes do not think. We did go out of our way to get condoms, but apparently that didn't work out.

Still, nobody has explianed to me *where* the sperm in the pre-cum comes from. Is it directly from the epididymis, where the sperm is stored? Or is it picked up in the urethra from previous ejaculations? (i want to know, because if it is picked up from previous ejaculations, I do not have to worry, considering he barely ever masturbates, and he pees like crazy all the time because he drinks so many fluids)

Like ingi said,take care of yourself and be careful in the future.You don't want an std or an unwaqnted pregnancy hanging over your head.Take a test and tell us how it comes out!

Listen, i'm panicking in my head right now. Reading other people's situations isn't going to help me much. I've spent long enough on the internet on teenwire and other sites reading other people's stories, so I came to a f.O.R.U.M where people can respond back to y.O.U.R personal situation. Yes, I realize I can be pregnant, but look at my situation, and read my post. I can bet you it's not the same as everybody elses. The only things I am really asking are: is it very likely i'm pregnant? Where does the sperm in pre-cum come from?

Apparently, you know all your own answers. Since i'm wrong about you respecting your body enough to have him wear a condom. And all of us are wrong in telling you that there can be sperm in pre-cum. That, no, isn't always washed out when guys pee. The only realy way to prevent that sperm from getting inside you is to use a barrier method - and, guess what that would be? Right. It's condoms! Woohoo!

Also, i'd like to see the guy who 'barely ever masturbates'. Sweetie, they do it all the time. That doesn't mean they are gonna tell you about it.

Oh and since the average condom can fit over a person head (don't ask) then he must errrrrr be one big boy

condoms go through so much testing including being blown up to incredible sizes to test their breaking point :)

i had a lot of trouble rolling it down, I kept rolling, but it stopped after an inch or two, and he said it hurt. When I took it off, I could tell it was cutting off circulation, since the head was purple all of a sudden. And yes, you can fit it over somebodies head... But can you roll it over somebodies head? Nope, you need to stretch it out completely, which would compromise the reliability of the condom, which I did not want to do even in the least. He is big actually, but that's besides the point.

So anway, does anybody know where exactly the sperm in pre-cum comes from? Straight from where sperm is stored, or is it collected in the urethra? I've heard so many different things from random sites on the internet, but none from actual people who spend time on a health forum. I'm giving you guys a lot of credit, do you know where it comes from?

my guess is that it comes from the same place it does when he ejaculates.I doubt it is collected in the urethra.After a guy has sex he has to pee sometime right? And its usually more than once,so in that case it would get washed out.See what i'm saying?

The sperm is in the fluid that is secreted to lubricate the inside of the urethra within the penis.

Umm so you didn't want to compromise the condom so you decided to have unprotected sex - uh go figure.

Still it's noteworthy that it takes one sperm to fertilise an egg during the average male ejaculate there is approximately a teaspoon of seminal fluid packed with sperm (i know it always seems like there is more than a teaspoons worth), within that small amount can be well over 250 million spermies!

If you don't know when you last period was I can't even begin to surmise when you high fertility may be

hey, like I said, when I get in that mood, I don't think. If you were to ask me now, I would say no way. And yeah, I know it takes one sperm to fertilize an egg... But millions are ejaculated because not all make it past the "hostile" environment inside a woman. (as it was once put in a documentary I saw a while back) so i'm hoping the chances are on my side: maybe there wasn't sperm (or not a lot) in his pre-cum, maybe he didn't pre-cum, maybe if there were any, they weren't mobile, or died, maybe I wasn't ovulation. Put your self in my situation, i'm worried like crazy. And of course it was partly my fault, I know that. I feel dumb enough already... Your goal shouldn't be to make people feel dumber. It should be to give them information. You seem to be a higher power on this forum, so why be rude/condescending? (maybe i'm reading your posts wrong, i'm panicking right now, like i've said before)
