Heart Disease & Heart Attack Answer A1113
A heart rate of 185 beats per minute (if you have, indeed, measured it correctly) is high and you can visit a doctor. It doesn't seem to expect at your age that you are experiencing a serious heart disease (angina pectoris etc.). A physical examination (auscultation) and ECG will be requested in order to help diagnose the condition. It is typical for young people to experience psycho-emotional problems that manifest as subjective heart problems. Your general doctor can help you perform these examinations and follow up with recommendations.
