To the person who posted the doctor's question about bleeding 17 days after a leep. This is normal. Your body is healing. Depending on how far into your cycle you are, this may continue until your period.

When is your check up with your doctor? Be sure to ask him/her if what you are experiencing is right for you.

Good luck!

LEEP PROCEDURE
It is a holiday weekend and i have not called the doctor. i have no pain 9 days out from procedure and i am already on antibiotics due to a respiratory infection. my post operative papers say any bleeding more than 6 days should be alerted to the doctor and an appointment should be made. i do take 800mg of ibuprofen each day for headaches and was taking 1-2 excedrin each day as well. i have stopped the excedrin but not the ibuprofen. the bleeding is not heavy but i am still concerned. i think that i may be doing too much. we walked a mile at the park and we went and walked by the river as well. probably totaling 2 miles. i have been doing alot around the house as well. i am just worried due to the bleeding. i have no other pain or concern. any doctors reading this?
fyi, i offered to stop the ibuprofen and excedrin since they both affect clotting and the md and assistant both said to continue my usual regimen because my body was used to it.

help!
