My name is holly and my husband and I are ttc with baby #2. We have a 13 month old son named mason and hoping to have a girl this time (i'd still be happy with a houseful of boys though)! Before I got pregnant with my son, we were ttc for about 7 months after stopping the pill and nothing worked. I tried ovulex, trackin body temp. And cm, used all types of ovulation kits, you name it I tried it! Finally, after almost 8 months of trying, we decided to quit trying and figured if it was supposed to happen then it would happen. Well, within a month I was pregnant. Maybe it was the stress of trying to have one that was making it not happen...But, anyways. We decided that this month we would start trying for a second child. I stopped taking my birth control pills on 6-3-06 and started af on 6-6-06 (spooky date for that!) and it only lasted 4 days. I was on different birth control pills then before I had my son. This time around I was on a low dose called aviane. I've heard that you can be fertile the day you go off of the low dose but this was not from a very reliable source so if anyone knows that this is true, please let me know. I was on birth control for about 5 years before I went off of them ttc with my son, and this time i've only been on them for a year, would this make a difference in how long it takes to get pregnant?? I'm trying really hard not to try too hard to have another one, but just the thought of having another little one around puts a smile on my face. My husband, of course, is just excited to get lucky 3 times a week lol.

Hey, I know people that have gotten pregnant on birth control pills! Like I posted in another topic, my brother and I are birth control babies (my mom swares she never missed a day and she had high dosages). Like you said, it's going to happen when it's meant to happen! Good luck. I'm going to try telling myself that it's not going to happen this month, rather next month. That way the pressure is off. Hope this helps, and keep us posted.

Well, i'm hoping it's meant to happen soon! My son said his first word (besides mama dada) and the word was baby! I about fell to the floor when he seen the baby in the sun on the teletubbies show and said "baby". They grow up soo fast....Seems like yesterday he was just learning how to do the army crawl around the house, now he's running through the house!
