Painful Penis After Meatus Scratched Posted: 06-16-06 05:41am
I'm 18yo, about 6 monthes ago I scratched
the penile meatus with my fingernail.
About half an hour later I felt sharp pain
in the tip of my penis. There was burning
during urination and pain when I touched
it, especially during erection. The
strong pain gradually dimmed after about
three months. Today I still have
sometimes burning feeling at the tip of my
penis during urination, and the penis is
bloated /deformed (noticeable especially
during erection) which causes small
amounts of urine to be left in the penis
after urination. One of the strangest
symptoms I have is a strong, sharp, and
immediate pain in the tip of my penis when
I press the navel. I also feel pain in
the navel during the day sometimes, and
especially when i'm hungry. All the tests
results (blood, urine, semen) were normal,
without indication for infection. Several
urologists I consulted with had no idea
for what I suffer from.
What do you think these systoms are
coming?

No clue, maybe you should go to an
internal medicine doctor. Or try to see
your primary care doc and ask for an
antibiotic.
Tequin is a pretty strong and an excellent
antibiotic for aid in fighting uriniary
tract issues.
Good luck,

do you think I should take antibiotics
even though the test results doe's not
indicate that it's an infection?

You need to do what your doc recommends.
If he/she does not feel there is anything
going on, maybe you should look for a
different doctor. If you trust your
family doc, and they tell you not to
worry, it is probably a safe bet.

as I said, all the tests results (blood,
urine, semen) were normal, without
indication for infection. The doctors I
consulted had no idea for what I suffer
from. They don't think it's an infection
and refuse to give me antibiotics. But
the symptoms are very dramatic and
certainly not normal.
