Bump On Ear After Cartilage Posted: 06-14-06 17:33pm
I got my cartilage pierced about a month
ago and I have developed a hard bump on
the back of my ear where the earring goes
through?
Is this normal? What can I do to make it
go away?

Hehe, I hope im doing this right, its my
first reply.... So here we go.
It depends on where you got it done. You
see when they pierce your cartilage they
are supposed to use a hollow needle so
that the extra skin is removed, wal mart
does not do this - however they may have
changed since I got my first one done.
But if you went to a body piercing studio
then most likly they use hollow needles so
id go back and talk to them about it.
I have one ear with the bump and the other
without. It doesnt bother me so I dont
really think about it.
