Hi! I just recently(2days ago) was told I have hashimoto's disease. After reading some of your posts, I am seeing that I have the same thing. I first went to the doctor because I gained 70lbs in less then a year. She said it was depression. Then I moved and went to another doctor about it and she said I wasnt triing hard enough to lose the weight. I spent soo much money doing it her way and never got under 200lbs, which is what I was when I started. So, I ended up moving again(coincidentlly) and now this doctor told me I have hashi. I am going to the endo today and I was wonder if you guys have any advice for a new comer. I am littler nervour about what this edno guy is going to tell me. I have a severe fear of surgery and I hope I don't have to do that. I am not upset about having hashi but, I really need to lose this weight. I am on a pretty good diet and I was going good excerise but, now I am too tired to even do house chores. Any advise on that? I am glad that there is people who have this and can help you with the disorder. Thanks a bunch!
