I have had an aboriton, and I work in clinics. Many women who have aboritons say they want a family, but not for 5-10 years. Newly married couples have so much on their plates already, that the stress of a child can be too much for them. When you are ready you are prepared for no sleep for 8 months, and not being able to work, and 200$ a week daycare.Having any number of babies is a big step, but now you are pregnant with twins.

I always say , do what is right for you and your family. Can you afford twins, health insurance diapers etc... All these things do count...

If you honestly feel like in 5 years you will be better prepared, the you will be doing your new little baby a world of good. Being prepared will help you feel secure and happy, and your baby will grow up securely as well.

I love the idea of twins and they have run in our family but im worried if I abort these then ill never be given twins again. I live in the uk so we dont have health insurance. I'm also scared of having the actual abortion done. I think I may have to have it done though and already im gutted, absolutely gutted and I havent even booked the appointment yet!! God im so confused. Caught completely between my head and my heart.

Do you have a social services there that you might talk to, or something like that, they might be able to offer you some help or at least give you someone to talk to.

I believe you are an emotional mess because you already know the anwer..... You want these babies.Life is not easy or cheap.... Its not about materialistic things such as brand name diapers..........(once you've used hand towels and bread bags for diapers and plastic pants....You will start to understand, practicality is how you choose to address any situation. You will have the support of friends and family. If this "partner" doesnt' step up to the plate, kick him out of the game......He still has to pay support. Its clear you want these babies, otherwise you would have already done something about it!

Anyway buzzybee, it is totally up to you. Everyone here has been in your position, maybe not with twins but it doesnt really matter does it. It was still an abortion. Some girls regret is some girls think it was the best decision ever. It is up to you. I was torn between my head and heart...And my boyfriends psycho mum. And I listened to her unfortunately. But you need to remmeber you are emotional and your head is all over the place at the moment, so you can follow your heatr but your heart may not be the same as when you were not pregnant. It is up to you. It depends what you want first, and education and carrer.. Or kids. Everyone will respect your decision, but remmeber the decision is yours.

I am not in any way trying to convice this woman to keep or abort her children. I have absolutly no business trying to convince her that because I am a christian and would not want my wife to abort, that I am the only right person on this forum.

Unlike you trying to make her choose to abort, she needs support and respect. She needs to believe in the decision that she makes, not the decision that you are trying to convince her to make. Regardless of gender, experience in life can be shared by both genders and fair unbiased opinion can come from a man.

Bee, please take your time over the weekend and weigh out the positives and negatives. They may well be even and you will have to decide totally by your heart. 2 or 3 days will not make the difference in your ability to abort. Please feel free to pm and I will discuss in the best way I can.

When you have an abortion they can put you to sleep, so you would not feel the crmaping associated with an abortion.

This is an important decision, it is okay to take time and think, but you don't wanna wait too long obviously.

Yes you can give your opinion, but its not nessisarily the one she needs. You have no idea what its like cause
1)you have not had an abortion or been pregnant so you havent been in her position whilst eveyone else has. So you have no diea how shes feels
2) most importantly your a bloke. You cant even get pregnant and have an abortion in the first place.
Its her body and her choice, she needs people to relate to. And sorry mate, but thats not you.

Hi I went away for the weekend to a really quiet little caravan aprk by the seaside to think. And I did, I thought so hard my head actually hurt! And I thought I cam to the decision that an abortion for me was the right thing for me at this time. As I like my life how it is and I still have so much to work towards. But then I went to my partners family bbq and his two cousins both had their 2 year-old with them, and they absolutely melted my heart and made me completely rethink again! I cant imagine being put to sleep and then waking up knowing im wasnt pregnant. I just dont know if I would be distraught.

by not doing anything you have done alot! Neither road is easy, to be sure but you have chosen the road with less moral pitfalls and more financial pitfalls.

You can do anything you want in life, you are obviously bright enough to get into medical school and do well enough to be going back for another year. I know it will not be easy to stay in school but if you want it, you can do it. If you feel that you can take a bit of time off, than do that too. :)

please do not feel that I am patting you on the back and all the while judging you. Like I said from the start, your decision to do what you want to do is totally up to you and there is no way on earth I could ever pretend to know how you are feeling and what you are experiencing.

Just remember to take your folic acid 1000 mcg/day and take care of yourself first now! You have to be the #1 person in your life from this point on, if your partner is having a hard time with this, you do not need to be feeling bad or "confused" for him or even show compassion. He owes you the right to take care of yourself in the mannner you see fit.

If he chooses not to be a part of the pregnancy, he may realise at the end of the pregnancy there are going to be two little babies that regardless of his attitude, he is responsible for. You make him accountable and make medical school no less difficult for him than it will be for you.

Hopfully buzzybee is doing ok. Remember that it is ok to be confused and to sit and try to figure this out even though you feel that you have it all together. Nothing good comes easy, and for you it may be difficult for a long time. If you believe in god and you pray, this is the time to really lean on god and ask for his guidance. Your answers from him may be very different than what we may think those answers would be.

They don't need anyone to say that the choice is up to them and there will be support for them with either choice that they make?

Again I ask, did you read anything or are you so bent on abortion that reading is beyond your ability to comprehend?

As far as 2 or 3 days not making the difference, if she is 24 weeks and 3 days it sure will make the difference but if she is 6, 7, or 8 weeks and 3 days it will not make the difference in a doctors mind if she chooses to abort.

As far as my personal opinion, sure I don't like abortion but as I have said before, it is not even a thought in my mind to stop a woman from excersising her right to life or abort. I vote against abortion rules getting stricter and I feel it is not the governments business to stop a woman from doing what she wants to do in that regard.

As far as attacking me because I am a christian, have at it. Doesn't really make a bit of difference in my personal relationship with god.
