Q: Puking Up Blood-please Help

My stomach has been hurting off and on for a while. Sometimes I will get a headache and my stomach tenses up really badly and it hurts. It has an aching feeling kind of like a deep cut or a burn. Sometimes it goes away, and sometimes I puke. When I puke, theres blood in it.It also happens when I drink mountain dew. Mountain dew has been my favorite drink for a really long time and I have drank alot of it. Im wondering if it can maybe eat holes in your stomach. My friend drinks alot and he has metioned to me it makes his stomach hurt really badly sometimes too.

I dont have money to go see a doctor. And because it doesnt happen all the time im thinking there is maybe something I can do at home to fix this, or if it will fix itself?

Could Be Serious
Sounds like something where you should:

a) stop drinking mountain dew
b) find the money for a doctor

i am not a doctor, and I think most people who aren't doctors really can't answer this concern. Why don't you try using the 'ask doctor' tool?

Thanks. I stopped drinking mountain dew, and stopped taking my allergy medicine and it seems to be getting better. Its happening less often, and it doesnt hurt quite as much. I do plan on seeing a doctor after my next paycheck though.

K all pop contains phosphoric acid look on the back of any can its like the first ingrediant. Now this is the stuff that will eat ur teeth if you leave it in a glass of pop long enough. They reccomend only 1 pint a day of fountain drinks, anything more then that and you doing some damage to your body. My suggestion is to not drink pop at all, only drink water for the most part and try to keep a diet with lots of dairy it helps coat your stomache well.. esp cottage cheese haha YUM!! Screw doctors you have to learn to take care of yourself in this world, doctors are just pill pushers.
