Q: Ultrasound , Were You Told the Correct Gender?

I had an ultrasound a couple of weeks ago and the nurse doing it said that the baby was breech and had it's legs closed so she couldn't see the sex. The doctor came in and looked and seemed to think it was a boy. I will be happy with either boy or girl but I was wondering if anyone has been told or knows someone that was told the wrong gender when they got an ultrasound. I would be interested in hearing about it. :)

Ultrasound correct gender
I am 18 weeks and 5 days pregnant and went for an ultrasound yesterday. The ultrasound tech said the same thing that the baby was breech and the legs were crossed and tucked under so he couldnt tell the gender. I went right after to the Doc and she did a quickie ultrasound and said she thinks she saw a sac and that maybe it was a boy but she didnt want to give false hope to my husband who's the one that really wants a boy since we have 2 girls already. So she's bringing me back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound. Let's hope it stretches those legs out!!!!!

when i went for my ultrasound, the nurse doing the U/S said they are unauthorized to tell us the gender, because some doctors are sued for telling them the gender, and it not being what they were told.
they tell you ultrasounds are not 100% correct, but some people just dont listen.
so they sued doctors for this.
But the nurse told me that when i see my OB if i really want to know she would ask her supervisors if they can send the result over with the OB.
But when they showed us our baby on the screen, they showed us arms, legs, head, fingers, and when they showed feet they stayed there for a few extra seconds and since the camera was pointed up, we saw what we thought were little boy parts, and when i went to the OB it was confirmed a little boy.
I had a feeling i was having a boy too.
and i got what i was expecting Smile

Eat something with some sugar or drink some orange juice about 1/2 hour before your ultrasound. This will make the baby move.
