Hi,

i have a daughter who is 5 1/2 who has had irregular bowel movements since coming out of diapers, we saw a gastro doctor and he indicates she basically needs to learn to push again (possible based on a painful experience having a bowel movement) and suggested using senakot daily to help stimulate the push. This product is off the shelf for repackaging so we were told any laxative with senna is fine following the dosage prescribed by the doctor.

Crushing a generic laxative with senna in chocolate milk worked for awhile and helped her bowel movements increase to every few days instead of 8 to 12 days; however, that got old for her. We then tried cutting up exlax with senna and baking it in chocolate chip cookies - that has now become old.

In addition to the above we give her merilax (puts water back into gut) every other day and kondremel (mineral oil) to help losten things.

Well we are back to 8 days.

My question is what else has senna it that may be clear or liquid I could put in something she won't know its in and has no taste - we are lacking the stimulate senna has in it and she has given up on eating the chocolate chip cookie every other day.

Please help. Question
