I am a 44 white female. I do no drink and I have quit smoking recently. I am sure I suffered a mini stroke or tia on 3.10.06. I was looking at some things on the computer when my left hand went numb. Then my legs went numb. I walked outside to shake it off only to discover it was not going anywhere. My husband put me in the car to go to the er my words started to slur. They did a cat scan, blood work, ekg with no results. They did numerous blood test with nothing. They indicated that everything was fine. How can everything be fine? I suffer from migraines and they sent me home with this diagnosis!! I am to see my doctor tomorrow (he was out of town today)
is there a normal life after this? All I i want is to see my children have children and to see my grandson grow up. Is there a normal life?

any results on this? I had a stroke 6 years ago, and the medical community including doctors on this forum deny that I had one. Its so damn frustrating dealing with all this crap, I get no covereage from anything and just a skeptical doctor when I do get my 100 second visit.

The brain can recover and improve, nad there may be supplements you can take to help .. Also stem cell may offer a good hope in the future.
