Q: I Swallowed An Insect

I swallowed an insect on 6/10 in the evening. Yesterday, 6/11, the right side of my throat was sore and still is today. I am not experiencing any soreness when swallowing and no cold symptoms; just this extreme soreness on the right side of my throat. Could this be an infection from swallowing the insect?
