Be strong sweetie.

Hopefully you caught it early.
Steve's mom had breast cancer and they caught it early. She only had to have the lump removed (not the breast) and some radiation therapy.

Take care

I've been talking to beckster today and she has an appt to meet with her doc to discuss her options for treatment of the lump.

Their (the doctors) first reaction was to suggest she abort the pregnancy to give her more options for treatment but she doesn't want to go down that route.

I'm Not Kia, But...
That would depend on how far advanced her cancer is and if she requires treatment immediately.

Umm ok I know a lot but i'm not a doctor lol :)

anyways, I expect it would be possible to do an assessment and then take it from there as to what is and isn't possible.

Breast cancer is a funny old thing, I mean for some people it can be as simple as a contained lump - a couple hours in the hospital tops to have the lump snipped out as a day patient and back home for tea - end of.

For others it can be a couple days in hospital, and yet others may find the lump is the "tip of the iceberg"

some people will have a tiny pucker of the skin where the lump was snipped out others will lose the whole breast.

There are simply so many things that can happen with breast cancer, it will all depend on whether it is caught very early, whether it is a contained lump or a spreading mass - it is impossible to speculate.
