I just started alesse 28.

I have been on it for 2 weeks exact.
I take the pill every night at 10:30, I haven't missed 1 pill so far, the most drastic thing is that I missed it by 15 minutes one night.

Yesterday I got a brown discharge, it wasn't constant or anything but there was enough to catch my attention to what was going on, and apparently it's fine and it's my body adjusting to the pills??

But then today instead of the brown discharge I had blood, so like I was having a mini period that was very light and didn't last. But is this normal to happen right now? And how long will it last, I know my body has to adjust to this pill but in 2.5 weeks im going on a trip with my boyfriend and 2 friends and I dont want anything effecting it...Like problems with the pill.Esp discharge or bleeding..

Anyone give me any input on this or how long itll last..And if its normal?

I am using the exact same pills as you; alesse 28...
I am currently finishing my third month.

All I can say is you are lucky, lol. My whole entire first month on alesse was horrible! I had the brown discharge (breakthrough bleeding) for the whole month... It wasn't until after I got my period and started a new pack did it go away...

So I would assume that your breakthrough bleeding will go away hopefully before the end of your pill pack, and considering you are on week 2, you only have close to 2 more weeks to go... And your trip is in 2.5 weeks. I think you should be good to go, don't worry.

And yes, the discharge you are experiencing is normal, don't worry about that either... If it get very heavy, or continues for some reason throughout your 2nd pack of pills... See your doctor, it could just be that alesse is not the right pill for you.

Take care.
