Q: Can I Be Pregnant??

Well.... My boyfriend and I have been having protected sex for a while now and recently ( like the 26th of may ) the condom broke. We now think that I might be pregnant but right now its kind of too early to tell... My period is due on the 16th of june but I think that its not comming because usually around this time before my period I have bloating and a very emotional state of mind. I am going to take a hpt on the 20 of june if my period hasnt come yet. My problem is that I have absolutly no idea of how to tell my mother. She will be so dissapointed if she even knew I was having sex.. At least its with a person that I love and have been together with for over a year right?? Can anyone please help me??? :?: :cry:

Yes-- you could be pregnant. Always a possibility if you're having sex. Just wait it out & don't worry yourself to hard yet, hun. Wait until you .A.R.E. Pregnant to worry about telling your mother. Working yourself up, isn't good for you. Take it from me personally... I worried so much I was pregnant that I ended up worrying myself sick, literally... Which led to me worrying more about naseua.

Take it easy & take a test when you can.

You say your period is due around 16th june?

Assuming that you have a normal cycle of 28 days...

Would make your last period about 20th may and ovulation about 2nd june.

26th may (when the condom broke) is about 7 days before ovualtion.

So to conclude the risk of pregnancy is very low but still a risk.

Your "high fertility" is from 5 days before ovulation until 2 days after.

This doesn't mean other times are "safe" just that the risk is lower.

(unless you chart your: bbt, cycles, cm, etc with absolute accuracy and know when you ovulate exactly)
