Hiya. I remember I was watching a daytime tv show about a year or so back, and they had a woman on who used to suffer from incontinence and had been cured using a new technique. It involved an operation in which a small egg-shaped device was implanted somewhere in her abdomen which exerted pressure on the urinary tract in such a way that there were no longer any leaks or accidents, and she only ever urinated voluntarily. It totally transformed her life. Now I don't know what this practice is called, and I believe it was a quite new concept. It also cost a lot to have done (possibly £1000?) but it depends how much of a problem your incontinence is to you. Relatively speaking, whatever she paid was a very small amount for an operation which would then cure her for life. Just thought i'd tell you that cos I remembered it after seeing the programme!
