Im 18 almost 19 weeks preg now and I was woundering if its normal to get pains right under ur ribcage.. At like the bottom of ur ribs.? Could this just be my ribs moving to make more space for the baby?.. I get the pains mostly when I have to pee for a very long time, and it dosnt go away for abit.. Anyways is this normal or should I be worried

First you should not be waiting long to go to the bathroom especially when pregnant you can actually cause the bladder to go (flaccid?) I for get the name but anyways the muscles go weak and u start peeing urself silly its going to happen anyways but usually the last month.

As for rib pain usually this is another thing seen later in pregnancy is baby stick there wonderful legs/feet in between the ribs and it hurts, could also be an imflammation between the ribs had one of those and it felt the same way!

Pregnancy is full of aches and pains the only time I would be worried is if the pain is so bad you cant deal with it, your bleeding cats and dogs, etc

It's not like you're going to pee your pants. It's more like a little will leak out. Still yucky though.

And a lot of women do poop when they're pushing (don't they tell you to push like you're having a bm?) but if you have an epidural you most likely won't even know you did it. The nurses clean it up immediately like nothing ever happened. I was just reading a thread about this on another forum yesterday and someone said "remember, the ugly twin must be born first!" which I thought was hilarious. Anyway, I thought that would incredibly embarrassing but since it seems to happen to the majority of women I just won't even think about it. If it happens it happens.

I've already informed my fiance that a lot of women poop during labor just so he'll be prepared if that happens to me. I also told him what happens in the delivery room stays in the delivery room. And I told him he can't look below my waist because I don't want to be trying to get sexy with him somewhere down the road and have him reliving the baby coming out every time he sees my vagina. No thank you!
