Q: Birth Control And Atkins

Hey everybody! I've got a question...I've been on the depo provera birth control shot for a little over 2 years now.

Before I started on the birth control I was on the atkins diet for about 6 months during which I lost a ton of weight and was in a size 0!

Gradually after I got on the depro provera birth control shot I started gaining weight, even while I was on atkins. Eventually I stopped atkins because I figured the birth control might make the diet ineffective - and I thought I was gaining weight because of the high fat intake of atkins.

Does anybody else have any experinces with the atkins diet not working because of birth control?

I've tried to find info on the internet about birth control and atkins and couldn't find anything too informative.

Depo

Depo is a common cause for weight gain, in fact it is probably one of the worst forms of hormonal birth controls out there!

Yeah, I should think it'd be obvious that it is the atkin's diet doing it to you. High carb, low meat, lots of veggies... The diet we were all on, back as cavemen xd

who really thinks eating fat is going ot make you skinny!? I'm even more confounded when it actually works.
