Okay, hi. So, I have been on birth control for almost a year now. The other day (friday) I took my last hormonal pill, and followed on saturday with a sugar pill. I wanted to prevent getting my period on sunday, so on sunday I took an extra hormonal pill in place of the planned sugar pill. That night ... Around 11pm, my boyfriend and I had sex without use of a condom. The morning after I went to planned parenthood where I received the morning after pill (23 hours after intercourse had taken place). The people at planned parenthood told me that although I was being responsible by obtaining the pill, I did not need it because of the chances of me getting pregnant were very slim (seeing as where I was in my cycle). They gave me the "plan b" pills, however. They also told me that I probably wouldn't see must irregularity in my period seeing as how close I was to it anyhow. I took the pill on monday *6/5/06* it is now 8th of june. This is a little bit later than I usually get my period. I researched this online and many people said experiencing late periods after the use of plan b is normal. I was wonder what people think about this and about my situation. Please get back to me as soon as possible, as I am over reacting much as I do in all situations. Thank you so much!

Plan b can affect your cycle and make your period late, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it doesn't come in about a week, you can take a pregnancy test, but you should be fine.
