i was just wondering how you guys get away
from the thought of food, and the guilty
feelings after?
I'm getting worse and I don't know what to
do.
Fed up other comparing myself to other
people, totally wish I wasn't like this
i'm just so confused and it's really
getting me down!!

I have the same problems! Almost all of
my day is consumed with thinking about
eating or food! It is rough. I have yet
to find a good way to keep my mind off of
it.
I am also bothered by comparing myself to
others. Every time I meet someone new my
first thought is..."do I look skinny? Do
they think I look fat?" and if it is a
girl, I have to immediately know if I am
skinnier than her (arms, stomach, legs,
all over). If I decide that I am not, I
am constantly worrying about how I look.
Its terrible. Its good to know I am not
the only one suffering with these thoughts
all day.

You are definitely not alone and you
should never worry about wha people are
thinking or feeling towards you I am 5ft
10in tall and I used to way 95lbs. I was
very sick. I learned that I would much
rather be a little overweight than skinny
as when you do have eating disorders can
develope arthritis stomach and esopagus
problems and you their are many more
problems you can have so take care you
caan still have that piece of pie or cake,
just have a small one and eat healthy. If
you do have an eating problem please get
help!

Yeah you guys are definitely not alone. I
feel the same way as you all. Best thing
to do from thinking your fat or of food
alll the time is to distract yourself.

You cant just stop eating straight away
if you want to sucsessfully stop eating
you need to just reduce your amount of
food intake slowly this will effectively
loose your pounds but wont throw your body
into absolute sickness..But stopping
eating will hurt you none the less

We all have better and worse days.
Sometimes i'm obsessed with food, what I
ate, how it was cooked, etc., and
somedays, i'm not.

Yeah, im recovering from pretty serious
bulimia, and it sucks. It really really
sucks (as you well know, im sure).
What makes me stop thinking about food:
old movies, bad music (the really awful
music that I would never listen to
ordinarily...Pop, basically), painting my
toe nails, picking flowers, and,
surprisingly, cooking. Then I really
appreciate cooking as an art, and food as
an art, and all of that. But might not
work for you.

on the internet, make beads necklaces and
stuff, etc.
