Hi, I have had hypertension for a few years now and take atenolol and water pills. They kind of keep it under control but it is still fairly high. I currently live in pennsylvania but am in the process of being interviewed for a job in fort lauderdale. I am of scottish/norwegian stock so don't do terribly well in a hot climate but I am prepared to 'make do' if I get the job. However, I was wondering if moving to somewhere like florida would dramataically increase my health risk due to the hypertension as it would be quite a change of climate from pa. Can anyone please tell me if it would likely be too risky? Thanks for your help.
