A seat for the segway scooter now makes it possible for people living with ms to use the segway as an alternative to a wheelchair or scooters.

The seat can be straddled while standing on the segway or folded down. Many people with ms and other people who have walking difficulties are now adopting the segway along with the segseat because it gives them an option of sitting or standing that wheelchairs and scooters do not.

Someone has mentioned before of balance problems people with ms have will not allow the use of segways. Although the handle bar along with its vertical shaft is part of the segway, it still acts a support to help hold the rider up.
