:[ I know this isn't the place for the question but I thought .M.A.Y.B.E. Someone in this forum could help me. You guys seem a lot more talkative here & such. Sorry for the oh so great details... I just needed some other girls... Or women rather to talk to. Anyway this is what I posted over there & got nadda in reply:

this is coming upon the third month that i've had a strange itch between each of my periods. The first time it happened, I assumed it was a yeast infection & treated it as a yeast infection which gave me some relief. The second time, I assumed it was yet another yeast infection & a coincidence. Now its the third time & i'm thinking there might be something else wrong. Like I said, it is usually right between my periods. Lasts about 3 days. I have discharge that is kind of clumpy... White but not exactly 'cottage cheese' like, as i've read is a sign of yeast infection. I've also ruled out std's... Both my partner & I are clean.

Anyone have an explanation? Or must I see a doctor?

-.Lindsay. & thanks for the help.

It honestly sounds like you have chronic yeast infections. There's not much the doctor can do for you; the only advice I can give you is to eat plenty of yogurt (if you like it). If that doesn't work, go to a whole foods store and buy "acidophilus". It's a supplement that will help prevent yeast infections.

Hey =) I think you should go see a doctor, I don't know what this could be, but since it keeps happening and you still haven't gotten it under control I think it'd be wise to see a doctor. Good luck :)

Lol if its anything having to do with yeast infection I feel sorry for you. I had one a few weeks ago and I was miserable. My mom kept making fun of me because of the way I was walking, I didn't want my jeans to rub my crotch so I was waddling like a duck lol but I finally got rid of it thank god. I hope you do too, with whatever you decide!

You will know it is a yeast infection if it smells like you are baking bread in your underwear.

Yeast infections are horrible :( there are over the counter creams, but they advise you see a doctor to get diagnosed since it could be something else.

Good luck!

It still could be a yeast infection if it doesnt really smell....I had a yeast infection...My gyno diagnosed it and everything but it didnt really smell and it was like you said a white discharge but not really too clumpy. I would have it checked out.

I would have your bf go to the dr to get checked out. He may be reinfecting you with a yeast infection. My dh was doing that to me till my dr told me to tell him to go to his Dr. And get checked out and sure enough he had a yeast infection and didnt even knw it. Also if he goes and gets clean bill try changing soap, laundry det. Softner. Thay might also be the culprit.

I have to say that you don't need to be diagnosising yourself. There is a number of things that could be wrong. Like someone said (too lazy to see who it was) have your boyfriend go get checked because if it is a yeast infection you guys could be passing it back and forth. So go see your gyn and talk to them about it and see what they say. And also make him go to whoever guys go to for that sort of thing and both of you get checked.
