Q: Strange Itching Down There Every Month?

This is coming upon the third month that i've had a strange itch between each of my periods. The first time it happened, I assumed it was a yeast infection & treated it as a yeast infection which gave me some relief. The second time, I assumed it was yet another yeast infection & a coincidence. Now its the third time & i'm thinking there might be something else wrong. Like I said, it is usually right between my periods. Lasts about 3 days. I have discharge that is kind of clumpy... White but not exactly 'cottage cheese' like, as i've read is a sign of yeast infection. Also, i'm only 15. Which I guess might play a factor so is useful information. I've also ruled out std's... Both my partner & I are clean.

Anyone have an explanation? Or must I see a doctor?

-lindsay. & thanks for the help.

Your body is probably just getting used the feeling of having discharge. Discharge is normal, and if you wear panty liners, it might absorb enough to stop the itching
