ok first of all have you seen your doctor about your symptoms? This is a major priority before "thinking" it is anything else. Numbness and being unable to move the arm are two different things. What is more concerning of the two is the inability to move the arm for a short period. However, you mentioned that this occurs when you are sleeping, suggesting that the numbness and restriction in arm movement is most likely because of sleeping positions, and therefore lack of blood flow to that area. When you next feel the numbness evaluate closely the position that you are lying. For example lying on your arm can cause restricted blood flow and therefore temporary loss of movement, which should return to normal within one hour. As for you heart fears I shouldn't think that it is anything serious as this is an extremely common anxiety complaint. As I said get to your doctor first (if you haven't already done so) before you make and assumptions as to what it could be to get things ruled out.
