I've always had good healt and never had to take any medication for anything. I'm 24 almost 25 and for about the last 6 years of my life I have had 30 second to minute long spurts where my heart races at over 200 beats per minute. It happens when I least expect it too, like on the couch or whatever. It never happens when i'm playing sports. It races at that pace and then suddenly goes right back to normal. Does anyone know what is going on? Could it be serious later on in life? Should I see a doctor? Any help would be great thanks.

I forgot to mention that it hurts during that time too. And that the occurance is rare like once a month to once a season or so.
