I don't want to use chemicals on my face to treat my acne.
I've heard of proactiv, but they use this chemical called "benzoil peroxide" which is cancerous when used in the long-term.

I'm wondering if there are natural ways to get rid of acne without any special substance? I'm looking for a good home-remedy!

Thanks,

Hey,
i had terrible acne for years, starting, if you can believe it, in the fifth grade. Not only did I use benzoyl peroxide products, but a few years later, I went on accutane, which I regard as the miracle drug (no matter what people say). The truth is, depending on the severity of your acne (or if you're prone to acne like I am), a natural remedy may not be strong enough to get the job done. I mean, i've heard of people using "toothpaste" to dry up acne, but that never worked for me. In fact, it was almost a joke to hear about it. I wish I could help you more. I've actually been using this really great website for my health concerns, and I believe that they do have info on acne. It's Healthsiteguide.Com. It's worth checking out. If you are able to find a natural remedy though, I would love to hear about it.
