I was wondering if over the counter meds could interfere with the effectiveness of birth control like advil aleve or tylenol i've heard st johns wart can but I didn't know about anything else after I had my second baby my back and hips hurt really bad so I take advil and I really helps but I don't want to interfere with the birth control my husband and I are pretty careful anyway but I just thought it would be nice to know

Hi there again =)

your good ol' cramp and body ache killers will not reduce the effectiveness of birth control. I love advil! It is an anti inflammatory like aleve, which is also great, but tylenol never quite works well for my pain.
