Okay- where to begin.

A few days ago I got a really sore throat. I mean badly sore. I couldn't talk or swallow right for a while. Today it got better but then my ear decided to act up (my left ear if it makes any difference). It hurt for about two hours, maybe a little more- then it popped (hurt extrememly bad) and now I hear static.

It's not constant. It statics/pops/stretches for a bit and then after 10 minutes it stopps and stays stopped for a half hour.

And i've heard about tintinitus? I'm curious if that's what it is. I have bene listening to headphones alot as well as staying online for long periods...I'm also a dramatics enthusiast so maybe the popping or squealing of microphones has to do with it...

So...Could someone please tell me how to
get rid of it
get rid of it for a night (it happened today so I dunno how well i'll sleep)
more symptoms
or
how it's caused.

I'd be very thankful :d
