Pain From Standing Posted: 06-03-06 15:13pm
I'm a 35 y.O. Male and over the past
couple of years I have been having
crippling back pain to where I buckle when
I try to get up from the couch etc. I
think it may come from years on and off of
working jobs where i'm standing on
concrete floors all day. I've tried pads
in my shoes etc. But I have a feeling I
may need to wear lower-heeled shoes so as
not to push up on my back muscles or
something. Any suggestions?

Go to a doctor and get an mri and some
xrays of your lumbar spine. If it is that
bad, you have a problem that mey be
treatable but shoe pads or low heel shoes
won't fix it.\
good luck,

I forgot to mention,i don't have health
insurance and probably can't even afford
to go to a doctor. That's why I always
try and troubleshoot my own health issues.

You can generally find one that will allow
you to make payments.
Good luck to you!

You might want to go to the er even though
it is not an er issue, have them look you
over, and refer you to a doc that may
charge little to nothing for people that
are in the huge crater of : I work, cannot
afford insurance, make more than 3 dollars
a day and don't have 14 kids so I cannot
get medicade. And they may work up a deal
that you pay what you can afford.
It is really important that you get help
for this, it will only get worse and then
it may be permanant.
The er is the first place to start though.
Good luck and I will respond to your pm in
the am. I do play 6 piece starclassic
perf kit, loads of sabian hh, hhx, aax and
all roadpro hardware.
