Is it horrible to gain these extra puond as my Dr. Said everyone tells me I look good and im not over weight. Another question is what are the risks of gainig a lil extra weight, if any.. & does it sound kinda strange that he tellling me this..My mom was born 11 lbs.. And I was born 9lbs almost 10!.. What if I have bigger baby in there?.. How or when of can they find that out cause that may be whats up with these extra pounds..Cause I do eat fairly healthy I cheat now and then with the occasional midnight snack..Lol ..( mommies to be I kno yu cant blame me) but I do exercise regularly about 30 minutes a day..

Not sure if this helps. But when I went in for my 3 month appointment the resident doctor thought I haven't gain enough weight (only like 2-4 lbs). So she asked my doctor when he came in. And he said that he wasn't worried about it. That women (at a healthy weight to start with) should gain an avg. Or 25-30 lbs by the end, some woman just gain most of it at the beginning and some gain most at the end.

Every woman is different. And sounds like you are still trying to keep healthy (i hear you on the cheating part ;)

Hi
Hmm sounds like were all hearing different things i'm 19 weeks now but I look like i'm ready to pop at any time. I weighed 130 before I got pregnant . I went to my doctor yesturday and she told me to come back in to weeks because she wanted to check my weight. I have got a big belly but haven't gained a pound. They say everything looks fine with my baby though so i'm not sure whats going on lol. They say were suppose to put on anywhere between 25-35 pounds in between 4 and 5 months so i'm not sure whats going on.
