Lyrica will not harm you when taken
properly. It is also not a contradicted
medicine for muscle relaxers or pain
meds.
Unless you just did not tell all the meds
you are on or have taken, there is a
boatload of meds available on the market
and you have only been on the very lowest
meds out.
You need to see a specialist in pain
management. These doctors treat pain and
that is it. They don't normally do any
surgery and they actually will listen to
you. There should be tons of pain
management docs in south fl and you will
need to contact one to see if you need a
referal from your primary care physician.
You will begin to see a huge difference in
your life when seen by the right doctor!
Again, don't worry about taking the
lyrica. Take it as directed, and until
you know how you will react to the meds.
Don't drive! It will probably make you
very tired.
Good luck,
brian

Don't give up! I promise you that there
are way too many meds avalable for you to
be giving up!
There are tons of us in the world of pain,
we are very abused by the medicine world
and we are always told that we have enough
or we aren't in the pain we are in. It is
a big lie.
(by the way, I went to school in coconut
creek and I was born in hollywood. Been
to mirimar many time go phish!!!)
you really need to get to a real doctor
and get real help!

Hello brian,
tks for the advise...And no im not giving
up..Im just pissed off and frustrated is
all!! I miss my job alot!! Its been way
to long that I have to go thru this back
pain..Dumb azz me picked up a box wrong I
lifted it sitting in my mail truck seat
from the left side and it weighed alot..So
I squeezed the hell outa my jelly stuff in
my vertabrae and hermiated my discs as
well..Cause I was to much in a hurry as
usual to get outa the truck and go to the
back and pick it up with my legs. Im
hyper...So that night when I got home both
my legs went numb and it scared the hell
outa me so I called my buddy at home
another carrier and he tells me to take an
aspirin and go to bed...Some help..Lol so
I had to put in a injury report the next
day and then it started with the red tape
etc..The govt is famous for it..Anyhow, I
2 grew up down here in south fla since 74
and I went to cc high school for about a
month in 81..Long story, then in 84 I went
back for my ged went into the us navy for
7 long yrs got out tried to be a cop fell
thru then went to the post office..Anyhow
keep in touch if ud like, I didnt take
that medicine I asked u about, why? I
called walgreens and the pharmacist told
me not to mix what im taking..Go
figure...From what I c u live up north
fla..Its gotten sooo bad down here its
unreal..2 many people and just crap..Over
6 million plus in broward county and
growing.. Anyhow wb if u wish..But, this
is all I know its my home...
Take care,
darren :)

I do not understand why the pharmacist
would tell you not to mix the prescribed
meds you are taking. They are each
totally different than the other and they
are a very normal prescription pattern.
With the exception of the fact that they
have you taking darvocet vs.
Vicodan/lortab or percocet/combunox.
I am totally baffeled by your inability to
hhave a doctor see the fact that you are
in need of surgery because your pain has
to be generated from broken parts and they
refuse to treat your pain! You actually
have legal rights to fair and humane
treatment and you can get that treatment
when you decide to find an injury attorney
that will represent you against the
doctors that refuse to treat you!
That same attorney should be able to refer
you to a real doctor that treats people in
real pain. If he/she just starts writing
scripts without an extensive exam, you
should not stay with them because they
will be in trouble and you will lose your
doc but if they do a full work up and make
a real plan of care to include pain
management you will see that there are
real doctors out there to treat pain.
I cannot stress that enough! Darvocet is
not a recommended medicine for chronic
and debilitating pain. Like I have said
before and I know the pain, I was on the
verge of suicide because I could not
imagine living in pain. My primary care
doc refered me to a pain doc and that pain
doc looked at what my orthopedic surgeon
had me on for pain and began to work on a
plan of care with much better meds that
are designed for long term use.
Please do not allow yourself to be abused
by the medical community. Even if someone
is a chronic junkie, they can be refered
to a special pain doc that specifically
treats junkies in pain. Everyone deserves
help with pain if they are in pain.
(i am not calling you a junkie, I am
saying that whatever your reason for not
feeling like you can get help, it is only
right if you stop looking for help.)
if the link does not work, some of the
letters after periods are capitalized by
this darn forum. You will have to
lowercase them. I hate to be obsesive but
it kills me that you are in pain and no
one is helping!
