Q: Pregnancy After Loss

Hi,

i had a miscarriage at 13 weeks pregnant three months ago. The miscarriage occured two days after I had surgery for ovarian torsion (very painful!) I took a pregnancy test this morning (well, and one this afternoon-i am an addict!) and it came back positive. I am worried because besides a foul taste in my month and twingy cramps I do not have any symptoms. With the first pregnancy my breasts had already been sore for about two weeks before I found out I was pregnant. Is this normal? I also am concered about ovarian cycts which is what caused my ovary to twist the last time. I have never had any problems before should I ask the Dr. To have more frequent u/s or is there something I can do to put my mind at ease that it will not happen again?
Whew, sorry that was so poorly worded!! Thanks.

First of all i'm sorry about the miscarriage. I had one back in march, if I was you I would be calling the doctor and getting in there as soon as possible and having ultrasound done. And I would ask to be watched closley. In my case I would be cause of my first pregnancy, with my son and then the m/c when was because it was ectopic. Oh, and congratulations on the positive. I hope the pregnancy is susessful (sp?) if you ever want to talk pm me.
Best of luck to you
oh and to reasure you bout the sysmptoms every pregnancy is different. With my son, I didn't have no sysmptoms at all, we had just bought a test and I took and it turned positive, so I wouldn't worry much on the sysmptoms.

I hope that you all have healthy babies! I had a mc in april. My hubby and I have been trying again and its been hard. I had 2 false positives. Its only been a few days since conception may have occured but I had a slight pink spot of blood on the toilet paper this morning. I dont know if it was egg implantation or what?
