Ok... My problem with birth control has been depression/crying all the time over nothing/mood swings... That sort of thing. I'm on the shot now and have been for 2 years, but all within a 6 month period before I went on it I tried ortho tri cyclin, ortho tri cyclin lo, yasmin, and the patch (ortho evra). The patch I just didn't like because it kept sliding off my skin... But the other 3 gave me oh so terrible mood swings and depression. I would really like to get off of depo because of the fact that I am only 20, and I have been on it for 2 years now... I'm worried about the bone loss. The other funny thing is, I have lost weight- and I have been trying to gain weight and just cant! (usually depo causes weight gain, only like 15% of people experience weight loss.) I am thin, but losing the weight has made me too thin. Can anyone suggest a form of pill that might not cause horrible depression????? I am not too familiar with all of the types of birth control pills out there... (and I dont want an iud... Just kind of freaked out by that.. )
