Q: Can You Catch Water Infections Through Sexual Intercourse?

Was curious to know if you could transmit a water infection through sexual intercourse, I am a 25 year old female who has a urinary tract in fection and wanted to make love to my boyfriend but am scared incase I infect him, is this possible?

I dont think it's possible to pass on a urinary tract infection, no.

However I dont think it'd be a good idea to partake in sexual activity until it clears up, cos if there is any bacteria on your area or on your boyfriend's, having sex is likely to push it up your urethra. If you do, make sure both you and him are really really clean first!

Yes you can pass on a water infection, I had it when I was about 7 through sharing bath water with my brother. He had it. I dont know if u can pass it through sex, but you can through water. Id ask a doc before u pass it on.

Sexual Intercourse-help need urgently
my mother is divorced and has a one night stand with one or more guys. she then shares and double ender with her best friend and they always change sides. my mother also lets other friends have sexual intercourse in my older brother's bed and bedroom along with mine, but meanwhile she does not wash our sheets. she has not changed our bed sheets in 5 years and we visit her once every 10 weeks.she does not allow us to wash our sheets at anytime causing us to get dieases and infections. what exact dieases or infections can my mother(36), my brother(16) and i(13) catch. Please respond!!! Sad
