Well I went to the dr yesterday and I didnt get any new photos of the baby. i did get to hear the heartbeat for the first time and it was amazing! at my next appt in 4 weeks I get to make an appt for my next ultrasound. I am 14 weeks prego on thursday. I am sorry if thses photos are really small, if they are I will try and fix it later. This is the baby at 9 weeks.

and I know these ones will be really small but the baby is about 7 weeks in these and just looks like a lil bean. I got the ones below at a pregnancy clinic not a dr it was when I first found out I was prego

Awwww those pictures are adorable! I didn't get a photo when I went for my first scan =( they just sorta scanned me, shoved me in a room and told me what not to eat etc. And to come back in 4 weeks... So i'm having another scan when i'm 14 weeks.. I'm determined to get a copy of the ultrasound this time! Hehe

congratulations on your little one =)

I didn't ask for a pic, but that's coz I presumed i'd just be given one.. But then I found out they were charging money for the photo and I didn't have any cash so I couldn't buy one. I'll take some next time!

well that is sounds stupid. Arnt you going to be paying them enough for cost of checkups and then when you go to have the baby your insurance will be paying lots to them and I am pretty sure insurance pays very well for ultrasounds.

I think it is ridiculous and unfair to charge you for a photo of your baby and I have never even heard of that before. I swear people are just so money hungry :x

I know, I can't show the father a picture of his son/daughter because I didn't have any money with me... He lives too far away to come with me to the actual scans, so i'm definitely getting one next time so he can see our baby for the first time!

My ultrasounds were so close together because the first one was just at a pregnancy clinic, its a christian place that gives pregnancy tests and ultrasounds free baby formula maternity clothes and stuff like that. I hated going there because they made me pray but there are no planned parenthoods around here so I didnt really have a choice. It is a great place im just no a religious person. This place trys to stop people from having abortions and I have heard horror stories about what they can do to young girls. I am on the pphood email list and they sent me a story about one pregnancy clinic inparticular that purhpusly was built in the same parking lot as a pphood. This 15 year old girl went in with her family to the clinic to schedual and abortion and then the clinic went to her school and told all her friends she was pregnant and to tell her not to get an abortion, and did all this crazy stuff. Thankfully I wasnt planning on having an abortion so I didnt have any bad incodents with them but im sure they would send the jesus partrol on you if any young confused girl did. They also try and set up adoption for young moms that dont want to raise the child.

I suggest if you need help with clothes, formula, anything for the baby and you dont mind getting all jeasus-y you should check out an emergancy pregnancy clinic.

But anywho like I was saying... The ones on the bottom are from the clinic they were free and were just so I could see the baby. The ones on top are from when I went to the dr =0)

zany that sucks about your ultrasound pics! Im sure in the near future they will give you one to take home im suprised your insurance didnt cover it. The only place I have heard of the paid ultrasounds are the 3d/4d ultrasound places! They are really cool if you can afford them! They even give you a dvd movie in 3d of the baby alot of the time. I found one in charlotte, nc that for 200$ you can bring children and up to 8 people in to watch. You get 6 printed photos, a dozen on cd for the computer, a dvd movie and a gender check. They might give you more too I cant remember. I think they are really cool and I hope I can afford one later on in the pregnancy. I hope you get a photo of your baby soon!!! =0*

Extremely eHealthy
I don't find one place more pushy than the other. The clinic I went to for free pregnancy tests runs a free teen sexual health clinic every monday. The lady who did my tests was extremely pro abortion and was pretty pushy about it. I think that it is very dangerous because the types of girls that come in there are very scared and impressionable, and they aren't really given equal amounts of unbiased information, but more pushed in the direction of whoever is helping thems own personal opinion on what is the best thing to do. I think this stops girls from making informed decisions they will be able to live with.

well if this woman is doing that she needs to be fired. She has no right to tell teenagers to get abortions, she is suppose to be thier to help them in keeping thier baby and in some places they do consider what she is doing illegal.

Honestly if anyone would of ever of told me to get an abortion at the place I went to I would of health forum slapped them.

I just went to a reguler obgyn place for all ages and the doctors where pretty nice, especially the one who delivered my son, she was always makign jokes even when she did my c-section, I was laughing my butt off when she was doing it and really did not even pay any attention to the c-section because of how much I was laughing.

Chrissy I love drs like that! They make everything so much more smooth. At my obgyn there are two male and two female drs you have to see them all at least once. I saw the guy for the first time and when he was all poking around he was making jokes it made me feel so much better

they dont always do ultra sounds and give u pictures when u are early. I didnt get a picture from my first scan. They did the same thing they did to her. Scaned me I got to see the heart beat and that was it. No pictures. I even asked for one but he told me to wait untill next time.
