Wow, that woould be scary if your
spirit/soul left your body for the night,
but that is just some gibberish. Don't
listen to that. I think you have sleep
paralysis. When you wake up in the
morning, middle of the night etc. You
might experince this. It can be
frightning since you can't move at all or
maybe barely but it should last couple
minutes. An ylonger than that and its a
problem. May be something is wrong with
your back or maybe you have narcolepsy, I
don't know. Go back to the doctor, a
different doctor, and ask about sleep
paralysis. Hope this help. :)

I have the weirdest dreams of all- like an
assault course in my bedroom, fighting a
guy on a spider web, etc!!
But i've heard of this; also another case
where someone woke up with a jolt from a
terrible dream. Trying to regain some
comfort, they went to their parents
bedroom to see if they were asleep. And
as they entered the door they saw on their
father's side of the bed a ghostly image
of the dad. Frightened, they screamed and
the still image suddenly dissapeared and
seconds later her dad woke with a jolt and
sat up to face her.
Apparently it's when you sleep your whole
body relaxes and your soul tends to lift
and leave your body. It's not dangerous;
your not dying, it's just when your in a
deep sleep. Yet when your soul re-enters,
it makes you jolt when you awake, some
accounts of dreaming that you are falling,
and then waking before you hit the fall,
or even feeling like you have falling out
of bed and when you awake your still
stationary in bed.
I do believe this, however i'm sure you
guys to have your own opnions. They are
weird, perhps though something is
bothering you so much, it still stays in
your mind when you sleep. Like our dreams
our a projector!!

asleep for 5 minutes and it really scares
me I went to that web site dreammoods.Com
and I looked up paralization dreams and it
did not show anything of this nature. But
I did get good info on dreams that I have
had a few times before and also sad and
reacuring dreams and the info was really

Sleep paralysis (aka "old hag") usually
occurs between the state of sleep and
walking up. Do you get a heavy weight
pressing down on your chest? If so do
you feel as though you can not breathe?
There are two (major) views on this - I
googled it and read alot of research,
about an hours worth so im just giving you
a quick over view -
it is thought that these experiences are
most likely cause by the body and the
brain being out of 'sync' when alseep.
Normally during rem (rem is also necessary
to supply the cornea with oxygen. Delta
sleep, associated with large, slow brain
waves, is what most people call the
deepest kind of sleep, when you are
hardest to awaken. It is necessary for
the brain/body to rest and heal.) sleep,
the body is paralyzed - if it wasnt then
you would be acting out your dreams -
because you are paralyzed during this
cycle of sleep your brain much 'flip a
switch' to bring you out of this state.
Now all the pages I read stated that the
'scientific' reason for this is because
your brain hasnt yet flipped the switch.
Then they all went into the percents, ever
2 people out of 10 suffer from this
condition.....Kinda weird huh?
Hypnopompic paralysis what its called :d
and is often associated with narcalespy
(sp).
Some people say that when they wake up
there is another presence in the room, an
'evil being' . This is another belief,
that the sleep paralysis has something to
do with the evil spirit that is often
there, however, the scientists have proven
that during sleep paralysis a person tends
to hallucinate. :d
hope this helps you

Thats if you believe that souls can do
that. However, there are scientific
reasons behind all of this.
Not that im saying souls cant leave the
body, im all for the spiritual side of
things. I did my senior term paper on
poltergeists :d

I experienced this myself a couple times,
I was aware that I was dreaming(actually
it was a nightmare) but I couldn't open my
eyes or move my body even though I was
striving for it.
I believe in souls and stuff like that,
don't fear it, fear will only make it
happen more often I think, at least that's
what happens to me.
