My bofriend has been very sick for almost
a week. They think it's strep but the
antibiotics aren't really touching it so I
think it may be viral. Bt his throat got
so swollen that when he swallows it goes
up his nose.
I've been caring for him, but being very
careful not to kiss him or drink from the
same glass and I have not shown any
symptoms of catching whatever he has. But
last night I cam across a swollen lymph
nose behind my ear, actually a little
farther back than that. And upon feeling
around, I found one right behind my ear.
Neither of them hurt. And then this
morning I found another one that's
slightly swollen right beneath the other
one on my neck. None of them hurt. And
I am still showing no other signs of any
kind of infection. I figured when I found
them last night that maybe I might be
catching the sickness, and I would wake
up this morning with a sore throat /
feeling like crap - but nothing. None of
the nodes around my throat are swollen.
I went to the dr about 2 weeks ago for an
ear ache. But she said it was just due to
wax build up, irrigated the ear and sent
me on my way. I have had no ear pain
since. What could these nodes be swollen
from and why do they not hurt?
