I started with anxiety last fall, got meds etc, went to counselling this spring and have been feeling great for the past month. Then all of a sudden it started feeling tense again and could feel the anxiety coming back. I decided to start doing more physical exercise to help lessen the anxiety, however, it has back fired. I started doing the learn to run 5km, commencing slowly with run 1min walk 1min 6-8times every other day. After the second run day I started feeling a pain in the left side of my chest when I inhaled. Of course my anxiety ridden mind started racing and again I started checking my breathing and paying very much attention to the pain. I am very sure that it is a muscle ache (i have had several chest x-rays, ecg (spelling???), blood tests etc in the past 6 months - all are clear).

I have a doctors appointment on friday and will discuss with her then. I just wish I wouldn't always jump to conclusions and imagine the worst. I have to not look things up online as that does nothing to calm my mind.

I am still on meds but was starting wean off. Was on celexa 20mg, have slowly over 3 weeks weaned down to 10mg/day.

Thanks for letting me share

Hope you feel better I have just started down the road of anxiety it seems. I guess I had mild attacks here n there before and just always played them off. In the past couple weeks I just started feeling light headed alot and that stressed mi out and my throat had been sore off and on for the past few months. And I have to agree with you this sucks. Not on any medication yet as my Dr. And I are trying to see if any of my physical symtems can be treated first (throat could be acid reflux) blood pressure is a little high. Unfortunately its been over a week and I am still having bouts of feeling lightheaded and also just feeling like I am unable to deal with people cause I feel stessed. My chest feels tight. Over all I have a feeling like I have to get out of here.
