There are plenty of women that have had abortions that have children. I for one and even the dr told me that I would be fortunate to have normal pregnancies and normal children, well, I had two pretty much necessary abortions and have had 2 beautiful children and they are grown and on their own now and their is nothing wrong with them. Please don't let these certain people get to you. There are many females that cannot carry a child until birth, who is to say that ours would have made it to birth. Cherry88, you will be fine, I feel it. You did what was right at the time and no one has the right to judge you! Just because they were not walking in your shoes does not mean that they have a right to judge us.
I wish you & all the best!

That sunshine person certainly aint shining any sun in here.... It looks more like she trying to brew a storm....Im passing on hugs to anyone in here that wants one... Coz we all need to be hugged at sum time in our lives.... Its just a shame that "certain" people get off on bringing people down..... Times change, women died so that us their future could have better lives..... Bet she doesnt tell women never to vote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting Over It? Not As Easy As It Seems...
Posted: 07-21-06 11:34am

Hey, I had an abortion in feb. And am still "not over it", I did it for personal reasons and medical reasons too...I don't think about it every day, but when I do, I get a little teary eyed....Its not easy making the decision some of us women have to make, but we make them for our own reasons and thats what matters...If you did what you felt was right than it's okay...Everythign will get better..You will never forget what happened, but I think we will come to peace with our decisions...At least I hope so...

Good luck

I totally agree with you! My abortions were mainly for medical reasons and I still do not forget them, weather it be medical or or otherwise I do not judge them, I am not walking in their shoes, I do not know what they are going through and why but I feel they have or had their reasons to abort at the time then that is okay by me, I am here for them, I too am hoping that everything will get better for them and I too realize they will not forget, just like myself and I too am hoping that they will come to peace with themselves just like I did. I realized that it was not completely all of my fault that sometimes things happen in life that makes us a little bit stronger.

Early Medical Abortion
Posted: 09-05-06 07:06am

Over this weekend I aborted by "baby" using the abortion pill. I am still in shock as it was very similar to giving birth, my water broke and I " delivered a fetus that looked like a " baby " when I contacted my clinic they explained that I must have been further on in my pregnancy than they had expected - they had given me a scan to date the pregnancy and told me I was six weeks and five days ( sounded so acurate that I foolishly believed them, even though this did not co- incide with my dates I had thought I was two weeks further on and had shared this with the doctor who scanned me) a week and a half later I terminated. But now I am left distraught that I "killed my baby" I feel that I will live with this guilt for the rest of my life and as this was not the first termination I have had it has made me feel much worse about the other two. Has any one else been through this experience using the early medical abortion pill? ( I am sorry if I have upset any one with my discriptions but I have tried to be as diplomatic as I can)

Well, you obviously made the desicion to abort for some reason, and you need to remember that reason now that it is over. Were your other two abortions medical, or surgical? Perhaps medical was not the best choice for you? Now that it I over, there is nothing you can do, and regretting it and feeling bad about having doen it isn't going to help you. There are places you can set up a shrine (online) and there is even an japenese shrine tradition, which translates as "water baby" (implying children that have died before their time, often through drowning in the past, but also including any child that has died). I'm sorry I can't give you the japanese version of the practice.
