My Dr. Wants me to have a bone scan this friday because I have extreme bone pain and becuase of an elevation of the alkaline phosphatase test. I have 8 things wrong with my muscle skeletal system over the years, herniated dics compressed neck discs. I had a fall down a spiral staircase and really hurt my lower rightleg-shin and never got it x-rayed. It always protruded. I'll get results this week. Anyway it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know what the diagnosis might be. My pain is great and I don't take pain pills because i'm allergic to the opiates. What do I do if I get a cancer diagnosis. Is it chemotherapy right away? What do I do about pain management since I can't tolerate opium? Thanks for your time. Victoria
