Are Symptoms Hormone Related ???? Posted: 05-29-06 00:33am


I have just joined this forum looking for anyone who has similar symptoms to me. I have been diagnosed with gad in january and have been on lexapro for approx 5 months. The side effects (not much) have subsided, however at that time of the month (sorry !!) anything can set off my anxiety and I feel terrible again. The other night I had a yucky dream / nightmare and the next morning I started worrying about it and hot flushes came on and constricted chest etc etc etc. Then I start wondering if my heart is actually ticking. I then usually have a good cry about it because the bottom line is that I am terribly scared. Generally it then goes away after I have a cry. Help ???????? :roll:
