Stomach Problems
Hi my name is gini,
i have lupus and fibro and ibs, for the last 2 months now I have been having alot of pain in my stomach and lower bowel, cramps all the time. I was taking librax and it was calming things down but didn't mix with meds I was taking for my neuropathies in my feet. Fell down 3 times so had to stop. Still waiting for appt. With gastro Dr. Hopefully it will be this tuesday coming. Maybe an ulcer? Had them before. Have to keep low stress and try to relax. Diet is important too. I have already lost 60 lbs. I am very overweight to begin with so this was good in a way. Just wish the pain would go away. Ty/codene helps alot. Also binding.
Good luck and hope this helps someone!

I am not a doctor, but I am majoring in biology. And what I suggest is your husband, of course, see a doctor. If you are really concerned about him having ulcers, he should get a biopsy. However, ulcers are not caused by stress or any of those other myths. Ulcers are caused by the bacterium helicobacter pylori. And even if he has an ulcer, a strong combination of antiobiotics (bismuth, etc) should potentially kill the bacteria.

It's also always good to know what he's eating. Perhaps he should keep tabs on a food journal.
